Wir von Pea & Pearls

fertigen Kleidung aus bestehender Kleidung und Textilien wie Bettwäsche, aber auch aus Meterware, die als Überschussware nicht mehr verwendet wird. Dabei achten wir immer auf eine hohe Qualität der Materialien.

Um eine gute Qualität und Haltbarkeit unserer Kleidungsstücke zu garantieren, sind unsere Zutaten wie Garne oder Reißverschlüsse immer neu.

Die Beschaffung und Verarbeitung von recycelten Produkten ist sehr aufwendig. Nachdem die Ware bei uns eintrifft, wird sie gereinigt und bei Bedarf gefärbt.  Danach werden die Kleidungsstücke in ihre Einzelteile aufgetrennt, damit aus ihnen neue Teile zugeschnitten werden können. Da fast jedes Kleidungsstück, das zu uns kommt, anders ist, muss alles einzeln per Hand verarbeitet werden.

Unser Standort ist Bremen. Wir bemühen uns, unsere Materialien und die folgenden Arbeitsabläufe möglichst vor Ort oder in naher Umgebung umzusetzen.

Ein Teil unserer Produktion findet in Hamburg bei “Made auf Veddel” statt, einem gemeinnützigen Verein, der die Fertigkeiten und die Integration von Frauen mit Migrationshintergrund fördert.

Sustainability and recycling are important topics that affect many areas of our daily lives. 

Everyone can contribute a little bit to relieve our world. At Pea & Pearls, we make clothing from existing clothing and textiles such as bed linens, as well as from fabrics that are no longer used as surplus. We always prioritize high-quality materials. To ensure good quality and durability of our clothing items, our yarns or zippers are always new. 

The procurement and processing of recycled products is very complex. Once the goods arrive at our place, they are cleaned and dyed if necessary. Then, the clothing pieces are separated into individual parts so that new pieces can be cut from them. 

Since almost every item of clothing that comes to us is different, everything has to be processed individually by hand. 

Our location is in Bremen. We strive to implement our materials and the following work processes as much as possible locally or in the surrounding area. Part of our production takes place in Hamburg at „Made auf Veddel“ (please create a link to the website), a non-profit association that promotes the skills and integration of people with a migration background.
